Worried about a carer?

If someone you love is carrying too much, you can contact us on their behalf. We'll help you find gentle ways to connect them with support — no pressure, no judgement.

Frequently asked questions

Am I a "carer"? I just look after my mum.

If you regularly help someone who couldn't manage without you — with meals, medications, appointments, or just daily life — you're a carer, whether or not you use the word. If that's you, our support is for you.

Does it cost anything? Do I need a referral?

No and no. Everything we offer — groups, coffee mornings, information, activities — is free, and you never need a referral or a diagnosis. Just get in touch or turn up.

Is what I share kept private?

Yes. Everything you tell us is confidential, and nothing is passed on without your permission. What's shared in our groups stays in our groups.

Can the person I care for come too?

Absolutely. Many of our activities are designed for carers and the people they care for together — and we also support care recipients with their own needs and services.
